Happy Early Birthday to Me!

On Saturday, I got an early birthday present. I've never gotten a present with more thought and effort put into it. Remember the title of this blog, and why I named it The Dolphin Tail? I LOVE dolphins, and LOVE being reminded of the freedom I have in Christ. So, knowing those things, my little Hutchcraft girlfriends took Cary, Kaylee and I out on a boat and we went dolphin hunting! It didn't take long before our hunt was over and we had a BLAST! Our captain was wonderful and knew just what to do to get the little creatures to SHOW OFF! I took about a million pictures and they all look a lot the same, but each one is of a different jump and flop! It was a THRILL! We stopped along the way to do a little shelling and found some beautiful shells. After our outing, we went for lunch at Panera. Mr. Cary tried to fix Claire's headband, and it was certainly photo worthy! He's a bit out of practice! It was a wonderful day and I have never felt more special or blessed by such an appropriate gift!

Happy Birthday! Who could deserve it more? I REALLY love to see the cycle of love that God creates for us all! He lets us be the big kids who get to love the little kids and then those little kids LEARN what it is to be loved like that and they can't wait to be the big kids. Your family is so blessed by your little Hutchcrafts, it reminds me of the way I was so blessed to love (and be loved by) those little Robinson girls. I love reading your blog and seeing the cycle of love that creates those important relationships! You've done such a GREAT job with them all! Wish we were with you on you birthday.. and to get to see the dolphins with ya (we also LOVE dolphins, I actually dream about them sometimes!)

Listen here Missy, I know good and well your birthday is November 24th and if you think you are going to keep us all celebrating it for the next 6 weeks you are mistaken. Yes, I know at our age time passes quickly and it will be Nov 24 by the time we blink our eyes but unless you celebrate it with one friend or family member a day it just isn't going to happen.
I really am glad you all had such a great time. It sounded like a wonderful gift.
